1. What we collect
We collect information you give us — such as your name, email, phone number and address — when you register, place an order, contact us, request a sample or subscribe to the Atelier Dispatch. We also use information needed to keep accounts and transactions secure. We never sell personal data.
2. How we use it
To create and manage accounts, process orders and payments, deliver products, respond to enquiries and sample requests, provide support, manage newsletter subscriptions, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. We do not use customer data for marketing without a separate opt-in.
3. Payments
Payment details are processed by Razorpay when that payment method is enabled. We receive payment status and order references, not full card details. WhatsApp sample enquiries are shared with the WhatsApp recipient when you choose to continue there.
4. Interim business records
Submitted checkout requests, sample requests, wholesale enquiries, explicit newsletter signups, saved addresses and account registration details may be recorded in a private Bhavita Textiles Google Sheet through a Google Apps Script service. The sheet is restricted to authorised personnel and is used for follow-up and operational recordkeeping; it is not a public customer database or the authoritative inventory, payment or fulfilment system. We do not send passwords, payment credentials or abandoned forms to it.
5. Cookies
The site uses cookies and browser storage needed for sessions, authentication, cart state and security. We do not currently deploy advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those tools are enabled.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, subject to records we must retain by law. Contact hello@bhavitatextiles.com with “Privacy request” in the subject.
7. Retention
Order, payment and tax records are retained for the period required by applicable law. Interim Sheet records should be reviewed for deletion or anonymisation after 24 months, or sooner where no business or legal need remains, subject to disputes, fraud prevention and statutory records.
